Hi: I live in Texas but grew up in Pa. Go "home" every two years in Oct and hunt with Broth and friends in Pike Cty. near The Promisland. Been bowhunting for 35 years. Also gun hunt, modern and blackpowder. Killed a 4 point buck and a doe last season. hree deer limit in my county (1 buck) passed on several doe at the end of season, looking for a piebald doe I had seen a couple times in the area. But no luck. Hey, like your site. Yes, I can hunt on Sundays and do. Wish Pa would allow it. But there ar other pluses to hunting in Pa. Hunting in Texas is for the most part a rich man's game. Public Hunting (with a $40.00 additional license) is for the most part limited to east Texas. Hunting on private land $$$. From $500 to 5,000 per year to hunt dee . Count your blessings I could go on but you get the jest. Love to hunt Pa. Have hunted in Colorado several times and killed some nice Mulies. Last year I hunted in Montana for antelope.
